Construtech magazine has published detailed information on the trends that will star in the construction sector over the coming months. It will be difficult to get it right, but they point out that technology, data analysis and digital solutions, together with the aging of the workforce, will be decisive in construction. I highlight below a summary of the short-term future. And then I invite you to watch a video about the most ambitious projects that will be culminated in this exercise.
US, November 6, 2019.- The office of the President of the United States has published an interesting report on the health of the infrastructure of the United States and its improvements. Thanks to this White House initiative, we know a detailed diagnosis of our infrastructure deficits and the necessary investment to correct them. I reproduce below for your interest. Before, I remember the disagreement between the investment figures. According to CNBC, President Donald Trump, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer have even agreed on a price tag of $ 2 trillion – although the American Society of Civil Engineers puts it closer to $ 4.5 trillion. However, talks have stalled.
The infrastructures of the United States is an issue that interests us all, the construction companies and professionals, the public and private developers, and of course, each of the taxpayers. For this reason, I have selected the approaches (opinion) of three media outlets to check what is the salute of the infrastructures of the United States: Bloomberg, CNBC and Cincinnati.
The PWC Consultant has published its “22nd Annual Global CEO Survey”. An already traditional study that helps to understand the context and the ways of acting of each CEO in each multinational. A reading to look at the macro and micro figures. Its main conclusions are this year.

U.S. construction spending rose a solid 1 percent in February, led by a strong gain in spending on government projects, which hit an all-time high. The February increase followed an even larger 2.5 percent gain in January and a slight.0.2 percent rise in December, the Commerce Department reported Monday. The gains pushed total construction to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.32 trillion, the highest level since May.

The human capital of companies must also prepare for the next changes in communication, leadership, technological adaptation, culture of improvement. In the following report from Fast Company magazine we can find some answers and reflections.
Nature is impossible to imitate by human beings. We can only honor it. Create and build reflections. The Architect Svetozar Andreev, in collaboration with Elena Britanishskaya, has resurrected a beauty of Nature. It is best to read and observe the whole story with your own words, photographs and video:
The data is the new oil of the 21st century. And the personal data of each human being is the object of desire of private companies, public administrations and other interest groups.
The protection of our personal data is endangered, above all, by the technological giants and the social networks we carry on smartphones. That magical device, connected to the Internet, where we carry our whole life and that we can not despise.
Computer security experts say that a Smartphone is only safe when it is turned off. That is, a Smartphone, laptop, tablet or PC will never protect our personal data if they are connected to the Internet.
The big dreams, the impossible ideas, the utopia in the construction sector at the end are possible facts, realizable ideas. The big cities struggle to grow orderly in their buildings, in their mobility and for the benefit of citizens. For this reason, the autonomous and electric car industry will be a driver of big changes. But, engineers, architects, construction professionals always advance more than computer programs. I just read in The Guardian this curious architectural project in China and it seems to come from the future
Last month, an unusual Siberian weather system that British meteorologists dubbed “the Beast from the East” brought snow, strong winds and the coldest temperatures in several years to much of Britain and elsewhere in Europe. House building was little affected, but the storm clobbered other sectors, the survey showed
All knowledge of the world of human beings, we have to click away. Every second, every minute, every day we have the freedom to read, listen, see, share, comment on any historical event, any current event, any strategy, any business key. We have the immense fortune of having the key of knowledge in our pocket. We just have to worry about having Wi-Fi and enough battery. This historical stage is resolved in the talent of each human being, each woman and each man. An added value built from familiar knowledge, and the circles of people that surround us in student life, or in an early working life.
Crazy ideas, no, technological revolution in the construction industry. We can foresee for real a new era in construction, design and planning put together in 4d virtual reality for massive efficiency improvements.
Large engineering works, public infrastructure projects, civil constructions with great economic impact, are one of my passions since I joined DOKA (2011). On this occasion, I highlight a very important bridge, both for the data of its construction, and for the benefits it will bring to the municipalities of both shores in the next thirty years. To remember all the details well, I turn to the information that Daily Record has published. By the way, the time-lapse recorded in the video is a great demonstration of the great work of construction professionals. In short, bridges are the best communication channels, complementing the digital channels. Next, the news of the Daily Record
You will agree with me on this assessment: “The British exit of the European Union is the most significant economic demerger between major economies since the Second World War and much about the forthcoming process of transitioning out of the EU has no precedent. But we know already that both the UK and the EU will be significantly changed by what is about to unfold”.
In the face of major events in major cities and western countries, citizens are seeking arguments. Public authorities, experts, politicians, and ultimately, people to rely on. Within these groups, business leaders are a voice to take into account, because they are involved only in the big issues of today. CEOs can influence opinion trends and must analyze their role.
The technological sector is not one of the economic sectors in which I have professional experience. Rather the construction sector and logistics. However, I have followed Apple’s entrepreneurial trajectory because of its particular birth, growth, decline and resurrection.
The first industrial revolution came about thanks to the steam engine. It happened to him the second revolution derived from the electrical energy. The third industrial revolution came with the computer age. And we are already living the fourth industrial revolution, 4.0, with the digital transformation of economic processes. This present looks like the future drawn a few years ago. However, it seems to accelerate, for example, in labor material. In the next decade, several professional profiles may disappear by robots or computer logarithms. Martin Boehm, Dean of IE Business School, anticipated
Dr. Porter’s initial training was in aerospace engineering at Princeton University. He then earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard’s Department of Economics. His research approach—applying economic theory to complex systemic problems—reflects these multidisciplinary foundations. In 2000, Harvard Business School and Harvard University jointly established the Institute for Strategy & Competitiveness to provide a home for his research.
Can they invade our privacy with a smartphone off and with a TV off?. It seems that we do believe the latest papers published by Wikileaks on the procedures of the CIA. Smart devices appear to use the battery to emit data, even if they are not turned on. That’s why I wonder if in the era of implementing internet in all the objectives of our personal and professional lives the best way to guarantee our privacy is to turn off the Internet … and now … remove the battery from the mobile. And this can not always be done, because on many smartphones and laptops the battery is soldered to the motherboard.
The immediacy of information every day, connected in real time to numerous sources, networks, forums …. prevents us look at really interesting documents. Business concern us, they worry and keep our quest to find the latest keys.
Obviously running a business corporation like Samsung is a work of great professional, very talented and the best resources. Surely, Samsung achieved in a few months will clean up their image and reputation, despite the high economic cost of this operation will involve.
Perhaps these crises can be avoided if the focus of your business model is placed on the customer, the consumer of your products and services.
With this acquisition the company takes another big step toward Industry 4.0 and into the future of the international formwork group from Lower Austria
Professional management teams in business evolves. Maybe not so quickly that the technology but is tailored to the needs of each client. In this sense, I just read an interesting analysis of Margaret J.Wheatley happened to play here for their usefulness. I also recommend listening to the video Yves Morieux about the rules at work. I invite you to reflect and comment on your experience.
